I’ve been thinking of other ways that we could attract jobs for SEEC’s clients. An excellent promotional item would be a magnet that advertised SEEC’s services much like the sign at Walter Reed and Four Mile Run. I believe the sign says something to the likes of “Need Workers? Busca Trabajadores? Call 703-933-1127 or visit the Pavilion at S Shirlington Road”. We could probably add some lines to describe expected work (landscaping, painting, loading/unloading, etc).
We could get a semi decent price for the magnets; I believe last time I looked into the matter, we could get a business card-sized magnet at a price of 21 cents per magnet for a quantity of 500. At roughly $100 investment, it may be worth it. We could distribute them at fundraisers, community events, in mailboxes, and to employers who pick up folks at the Office/Pavillion (if we can catch them!).
